Friday, November 20th, Preview Night, 6.00 p.m. – 10.00 p.m. 

Shop for the perfect handmade gift from a perfectly curated assortment of vendors like Adorned by Aisha, Stitch Prism and Saffron Creations. Find everything from ceramics, home decor and felted gnomes, to wooden toys, play-silks, jewelry, and handmade chocolate.

All of the items featured are handmade by emerging artisans and offer you an opportunity to support the growing handmade local economy. On Preview Night come and enjoy LIVE MUSIC and a delicious home-made dinner served by Philly Waldorf’s best chefs, including Waldorf parents, Ben Manes, Italian food master, Mark Mebus, owner/chef at Blackbird Pizzeria, and Brett Naylor, chef at Oyster House. Great for a date night or friends night out!

On Saturday, November 21st, Bring the Kids Day!

Bring the children from 10.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. and have lots of fun finding gifts and keep-sakes for everyone.
Admission is $5.00 for adults and children under 12 are FREE.
Enjoy magical children’s crafts, great food, fantastic vendors all within the walls of our new home at 6000 Wayne Avenue.

Delicious Food

Delicious dinner is served on Friday night, or start the day right with a great cup of coffee and a home-made pastry on Saturday morning – or do both!  Our Cafe is powered by volunteer parents and alumni. Stop by, grab some soup and a sandwich on Saturday afternoon – it’s a great way to discover more about the community at Philly Waldorf.

The Whispering Wood Pop-up Store

The Whispering Wood store re-created just in time for the holidays! Here you will find a carefully curated selection of archetype Waldorf playthings including Sarah’s Silks, Noble Dolls, beeswax, Waldorf art supplies, star paper and one-of-a-kind Anna Ziegner items.

Children’s Crafts, Shopping Room and Puppet Play

Beeswax candle dipping, face painting and jump rope making – we are makers. Come and make with us!
There’s also a special Children’s Crafting Room with one-of-a-kind, made-from-scratch crafts for your children to make and take.

Imagine a place just for your child to enter and shop for gifts. Every year we create a magical shopping experience just for children – no adults allowed – the Children’s Shopping Room. You child will enter a fairy-light-filled room brimming with one-of-a-kind, high quality, hand-crafted items made lovingly by Waldorf parents – crocheted pot holders, children’s aprons, and so much more.

Children’s puppet play is a signature Waldorf Education event. Early Childhood teachers create and tell a magical story just for your little ones.
