Saturday, May 14th from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., we’re gettin’ jiggy with it.

This year, Philly Waldorf is celebrating a return to in-person events with a 90’s party! Decked out in their finest jelly bracelets and JNCO jeans, our community will come together to party hearty and raise funds to keep our school super fly. The Spring Auction is one of Philly Waldorf's most important philanthropic events, and more than anything, this year we want to focus on something incredibly important but criminally under-appreciated: having fun! Our students are joyful, but they are also silly, and we could all learn a lot from them. So

So, what's the dealio?

• Join 150 of your closest homies on May 14th from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

• Enjoy an open bar featuring bodacious biodynamic wine from Moore Brothers and sweet craft brews from Attic Brewing Company.

• Dig into a delectable three course meal prepared by alumni parent Gabriella Coscia.

• Experience the thrill of our live auction as you bid to win exciting items, including those made by our own students.

• If you're really "Livin' La Vida Loca," why not add a VIP Package when you purchase your ticket? For an additional $250, we'll reserve a table for you and 9 of your raddest pals, plus a bottle of bubbly to enjoy.

New to our school? Here's the 411: every year, Philly Waldorf throws a party for the hardworking adults in our community. Through ticket sales, a paddle raise and a fabulous auction, we raise funds to maintain and enhance our school: basically, you get to raise the roof for the children. What’s included with my ticket? An open bar with a signature cocktail and a signature mocktail, wine from Moore Brothers and beer from Attic Brewing Company, and a delectable three course meal prepared by alumni parent Gabriella Coscia.

What can I expect at this shin-dig?

• A cocktail hour with plenty of time to mingle and scope out items from our silent auction.

• A delicious dinner to be enjoyed between boisterous bouts of bidding on our amazing live auction items.

• After a paddle raise and dessert, join your friends on the dance floor and do your best Macarena, or gather around our bodacious fire pits and enjoy the beauty of our campus and the company of our community.

What should I wear? Whatever makes you feel good! Come in your overalls and Seattle-grunge flannel, your delia*s-inspired dress, or just your regular jeans. We just want to see you!

Got the perfect auction item? Then donate it! Our auction is shaping up to be just as unique as our school. Here are some ideas of things you can donate:

• Physical items, like that gorgeous console in your basement, that cool chair you're parting with, that amazing pie safe that's in your shed.

• Form a Honey-Do Crew with another parent and offer your services to help a family knock some items off of their list (Weeding! Gardening! Painting! Organizing someone's closet!)

• Do you have a chocolate cake recipe that you are dying for everyone to try? Make a cake and we can auction that off too!

• Like to cook? Offer a three-course meal for a family one weekend!

• Do you like babysitting (or perhaps your of-age kid does?) Put together a tantalizing package for parents who need some time to get out and about!

• Are you fab with fashion? Offer your styling services or consult on a closet clean-out!

• Good with décor? Offer consultations on refreshing a space!

• Vacation destinations, experiences, your talents, tickets, products, art, gift certificates... we welcome donations of all types!
