Waldorf Teacher Certificate, Antioch University
MA and BA, St. John’s College
Niko was born and raised in New York and attended Waldorf school from Kindergarten through Grade Twelve. He taught in a variety of school settings before becoming a Waldorf teacher, and has served in administrative leadership positions in Preschool-8 and Preschool-12 Waldorf schools for the past decade.
Niko experienced the benefits of Waldorf education firsthand and credits his teachers with instilling in him a lifelong love of learning and service. He remains inspired by the consistent power of Waldorf Education to enhance students’ self-knowledge, empathy, critical thinking, and creativity, and to support them in becoming leaders of their own lives, capable of contributing to a more just, sustainable, and compassionate world.
When Niko is not at school, he enjoys spending time with his daughters, reading, and hiking.
