Jamie grew up in Chester Springs, PA attending the Kimberton Waldorf School through 12th grade. A parent at Philly Waldorf since 2009, she eased her way into the classroom, first as an assistant, then the Parent and Child teacher, and finally as the Lead Nursery teacher. Jamie is currently Chair of the Early Childhood department.

Teaching at Philly Waldorf allows Jamie to truly and deeply know each child and their family, creating a connection for a holistic approach to caring for children. She is committed to celebrating the spectrum of differences and similarities that make each child unique. Jamie delights in cultivating a rich curriculum where each child and family feels they truly belong. She honors everyone in the classroom and introduces inclusivity around cultures and identities not represented.

She lives in East Mount Airy with her husband, Scott, and two daughters, Ivy and Fiona. They enjoy camping, travel, gardening, cooking, knitting or reading by the fire, crossword puzzles, and gathering around the table with friends and family.
