Sasha joined the faculty of the Waldorf School of Philadelphia as a Parent-Child Teacher in 2012, having known from an early age that she wanted to become a teacher. She was originally introduced to Waldorf education by a long-time, talented teacher and was drawn to it for its ability to connect spirit, soul, mind, and body. Sasha is dedicated to the craft of artistic, lively, and innovative teaching where each child’s interests and uniqueness are appreciated and valued.
Professional development is important to Sasha, especially on topics related to curriculum, differentiated learning, DEIJ, and belonging. Sasha is proud to be part of a community that is educating children to be inspired to make the world a better place in their own ways by uniting compassion with creativity.
In addition to teaching, she loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, sports, music, and painting.
