Dr. T was an English and Literature Teacher for 11 years at Monsignor McHugh School before serving as their Principal for two years. From there, she became the Principal of Holy Family School, where she worked for two years. Her responsibilities have included maintaining a vision for academic and personal growth for every student and developing an environment that cultivated strong relationships between faculty, students, and the community.
Becca was raised in Philadelphia, attending Alternative Middle Years (AMY), Masterman, and Central High School. It was AMY’s unconventional approach to learning that sparked Becca’s interest in Rudolf Steiner’s educational philosophy. Becca shares, “Unfortunately, living and raising a family in the Pocono Mountains did not lend itself to being part of a school with Steiner’s vision. So, with each position held in education, I infused concepts of learning that educate the whole child: mind, body, and spirit.”
On joining our community, Becca says, “I am enlivened by the thought of joining the Waldorf community. I see this opportunity as a natural next step as an educator and mentor. My door will always be open.”
Becca and her husband Keith are parents to Nicholas and Madison. She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and spoiling her nieces.
