Molly Leary

Orchestra Teacher

MM in Viola Performance, University of Delaware

BM in Music Education, University of Florida

As an orchestra teacher, Molly’s passion for teaching stems from her love for music. Molly is a classically trained violist whose goal is to make classical music more accessible to students. From the music of J.S. Bach to Michael Jackson and everything in between, Molly aims to pass down the tradition of instrumental music to the next generation of budding musicians. Molly’s pedagogy aspires to help students maintain a disciplined technique while also fostering a curiosity for music. Some of her musical interests include Baroque instrumentation, Late Romantic era symphonies, and Italian opera.

Molly grew up on the Space Coast of Florida. Her childhood includes fond memories of the scenic beaches and unique wildlife of Florida. After completing her undergraduate degree in music education from the University of Florida, she moved to Delaware to pursue a master’s degree in performance. From there, she moved to Philadelphia, where she has resided for the past few years. Aside from music, her hobbies include baking, hiking with her dog, and finding new thrift shops.
