María is a professional illustrator and visual communicator with experience working across children’s publishing, nonprofit organizations, and international brands. Her career highlights include collaborations with Starbucks, Twitter, and the Wikimedia Foundation, along with a personal practice that celebrates storytelling, imagination, and visual expression. She is also the founder of Twibbles, a Waldorf-inspired children's brand that combines illustration, apparel, and play to nurture creativity and imagination.

Originally from Colombia, María now lives in Philadelphia with her husband, also an illustrator, and their two children who attend Philly Waldorf. She enjoys drawing and finding inspiration for her work in everyday life..
